It works through a process of absorption, adsorption and cation exchange. Smelleze™ is negatively charged whereas odoriferous gases ride on positively charged particles. As a result, Smelleze™ draws in animal waste odors like a strong magnet. Thereafter, it traps, neutralizes, and encapsulates the odors without smelly cover-ups. Furthermore, it traps cations like ammonium ions and toxic heavy metals by selective ion exchange thus preventing pollution from runoff. The molecular structure of Smelleze™ is made up of a lattice structure arranged to form a honeycomb framework of billions of interconnecting channels. Directions

For a breath of fresh air, simply mix Smelleze™ granules at a rate of 10%- 25% by volume with manure and smell the difference. This amount may be reduced or increased according to ammonium levels in green manure. There is no upper limit to the amount of Smelleze™ that can be utilized. This product may also be placed in an open top container adjacent to odors to adsorb them. Use at least 4 pounds for every 400 square feet.

Disposal

The unused Smelleze™ Animal Waste Deodorizer Granules are non-hazardous and environmentally safe. Provided it is not exposed to hazardous or toxic substances, used Smelleze™ makes an excellent soil amendment and can be recycled as a slow release nitrogen fertilizer in gardens, flower beds, yards, fields, potting soil, and plant beds with thorough watering. Used Smelleze™ that is exposed to hazardous or toxic substances should be disposed according to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
