How to Regenerate WaterKlean™

WaterKlean™ can be regenerated for reuse by backwashing with a solution of 10% sodium chloride and then rinsing. The resulting effluent should be disposed according to all relevant local, state and federal regulations.

How to Recycle WaterKlean™

The unused WaterKlean™ media are natural, non-hazardous and environmentally safe. You may apply the granules to gardens, flower beds, yards, fields, potting soil and plant beds with thorough watering. It will act as a slow release fertilizer and help retain soil moisture.

Recycling Precaution

If WaterKlean™ is exposed to hazardous or toxic odors or pollutants, it will be considered as such and should be disposed according to all relevant local, state and federal regulations and not recycled as described above.
